This client works in IT and spends long hours sitting in front of a screen 💻

She came in with chronic neck and shoulder tension — a common issue in desk-bound jobs.


During today’s session, we focused on:

🔹 Scapular alignment

🔹 Shoulder depression & stability

🔹 Activating mid-back muscles to support upright posture

🔹 Cueing her into body awareness — not just movement, but how she moves


👉 The same exercise can be safe or harmful — it depends on form and precision.

That’s why professional guidance and quality cueing matter.



💡 Common weak or underused muscles in seated workers:

• ✅ Lower Trapezius: for scapular depression & posture control

• ✅ Rhomboids: to retract and stabilize the shoulder blades

• ✅ Serratus Anterior: for scapular glide and shoulder protection

• ✅ Deep neck flexors: to counter forward head posture


Strengthening these muscles — while correcting poor movement patterns — is key to reducing pain and regaining function. 💪
