After giving birth, when can you start Pilates again?

It depends on your delivery type and your individual recovery process:⁠

🔹 Vaginal (Normal) Birth: Light movement may begin after 6 weeks (with doctor’s approval)

🔹 C-section (Surgical Birth): Usually safe to start around 8–12 weeks post-op, once the incision has healed

Start gently:

✔️ Breathing & core connection

✔️ Pelvic floor awareness

✔️ No pressure to “bounce back”—focus on healing from the inside out

⚠️ Always check with your healthcare provider before starting exercise.
